Quantum Science & Technology Non-Credit Program

Designed and taught by faculty from the UConn Department of Physics, the Quantum Science and Technology program is a non-credit online learning opportunity designed to provide a comprehensive overview of where we are and where we’re going. Through small cohorts, live online meetings, and self-paced study, students work through four sequential courses that build on one another, gaining a foundational introduction to quantum science, diving into mathematical tools, studying quantum materials and sensing, and looking forward towards quantum computing. This program is designed for non-physics professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Farm Risk Management Online Course

USDA Funded Online Risk Management Course Designed for Farmers 

The Farm Risk Management program is a 12-module online certificate course funded by the USDA RMA and developed by UConn’s College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources Department of Extension. It focuses on critical topics such as crop insurance, climate change, pest management, and financial uncertainties, providing strategies to enhance farm resilience and sustainability. The course is free, self-paced, and designed for various types of farms, including livestock, dairy, crop, and fruit & vegetable farms.
